SYSTEM HERITAGE
The L-shaped wall idea emerged from a drive to improve flat-panel construction.
Official ELCON material traces the system to the late 1960s and records the first moulds in 1969, with two wall planes developed as a single load-bearing L-shaped element to simplify erection and reduce joints.
